About

After working in the education field and witnessing the lack of mental health resources for both teachers and students, Tessa decided to become a counselor in order to address individual needs and be part of a system that prioritizes holistic treatment. She completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Montana in Missoula. She is dedicated to working with the CWC due to the center’s commitment to providing culturally sensitive and relevant care. Tessa’s therapeutic approach is to help students better understand themselves through a biopsychosocial lens. Through self-discovery, she hopes students will be able to foster greater self-worth and belief in their own efficacy.
