Counseling and Wellness Center's Campus Partners
The Counseling and Wellness Center works closely with several other programs on campus to assure student success. Click on the links below to for more information on each program.
Academic Advising
Academic Advising supports undergraduate student success through conversations and resources around academic plans and goals. Students are encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor regularly to ensure good progress towards academic goals and to stay current on Western academic policies and opportunities.
Disability Access Center
The DAC supports equal access and full inclusion for every student. The DAC can assist with accommodations and support services.
Self-Help Library
A collection of links including apps, podcasts, videos, and readings that may provide information and/or support to better understand and cope with a variety of mental health topics.
Sexual Violence Survivor Advocate
Western has a designated survivor advocate who is available to meet with any student survivor who would benefit from support. Students may directly schedule with the advocate to initiate support, and no referral is needed.
Student Health Center
The Student Health Center is a primary care medical clinic specializing in college health. They provide an extensive array of services including preventive health care and management of health concerns, illnesses and injuries.
Student Outreach Services
SOS serves first-generation, multicultural, and nontraditional students through personalized academic coaching, peer mentoring, and specialized programs.

Suicide Prevention
Helping someone in distress is something we all can do. Notice the warning signs. Reach out and offer hope. Get help together. For an emergency, always call 911.
