In their role as a nurse practitioner, TJ strives to provide holistic and trauma informed care that addresses the emotional, psychological, and social aspects of mental well-being. They provide education on treatment options that help address mental health difficulties and ensure clients have information to make an informed decision. This might include prescription medication, therapy, and other treatment options. TJ's focus is on the individual experience—they are a supportive team member on the journey to mental well-being. TJ received their Doctorate in psychiatric mental health nursing practice from the University of Washington in 2020. Prior to this they worked as an inpatient psychiatric registered nurse.
