Shihan Xu 徐诗涵 is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate currently completing her doctoral internship at Western Washington University. She utilizes Solution-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral, and culturally relational approaches in brief individual therapy. Shihan applies a multicultural lens to her work, addressing issues related to family dynamics, culture, relationships, and academic stressors. Additionally, she co-facilitates the Build Your Social Confidence (BYSC) skills group. Shihan is also a Substance Use Disorder Professional trainee and has experience working with diverse populations interested in exploring their substance use. She also enjoys providing outreach programs aimed at supporting BIPOC college students.

Nontraditional and international students, with a focus on cultural and family trauma, solution-focused practice, adjustment issues, and academic stress concerns.

In her personal time, Shihan enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, connecting with nature,watching comedies, and experiencing different cultures through travel, movies, and music.
