Doctoral Internship Program

Greetings from the Coordinator of Training

Hello and thank you for your interest in the Doctoral Internship program at the Western Washington University (WWU) Counseling and Wellness Center. I am excited to share information about the training available at the WWU Counseling and Wellness Center and the Supervision team committed to working with doctoral interns as they navigate their final year of in-depth training.

Our internship is one created by collaboration of the licensed psychologists, licensed senior staff, and our current interns and alumni working toward a readiness of entering the profession as a generalist health service psychologist. In our interns, we hope to find enthusiastic colleagues who are ready to jump into the work and use the year they are with us to help us not only serve the WWU campus community, but also help us to continue to refine our training program.

Please look through the information provided and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Sincerely,
Ruby Casiano, Ph.D.
Assistant Director and Coordinator of Training
