Impact Well-being at WWU!

The Counseling and Wellness Center is excited to launch the National College Health Assessment at WWU this spring! A randomly selected sample of 4,000 full-time undergraduate WWU students ages 18 and older will receive the NCHA survey in their WWU email inbox on April 8 from NCHA-WEB@acha.org with the subject line “Share Your Voice: Take the NCHA Health Survey at WWU.”

The survey can be completed between April 8 and April 26.

What is the NCHA?

The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) is a nationally recognized research survey administered by the American College Health Association (ACHA). Data from the survey helps colleges and universities learn about the health habits, behaviors, and perceptions of their students in order to develop public health goals for the campus and evaluate programs and services.

The NCHA covers the following topics:

  • Alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use
  • Sexual health
  • Weight, nutrition, and exercise
  • Mental health
  • Personal safety and violence
