Why are you interested in being a mentor in the Outdoor Wellness Program?
Please share a bit about your passion for/connection with the outdoors, mental health, and/or both?
What do you hope to get out of the experience of being a peer mentor? What would you like to gain by the end of the class?
Please talk about your interest in supporting your peers at WWU. Why are you interested in becoming a mentor that connects other wwu students to the natural world?
During this program you will be committing to work with another WWU student 90-120 minutes per week duringWinter and Spring quarters. You will need to have enough flexibility in your schedule to consistently fit this in. Do you foresee anything getting in the way with your ability to make this time commitment?
What unique qualities do you bring to the table that will make you an effective mentor?
Do you have any additional questions or things you would like to share with us?
